Current Heavy Fuel Engines Available from GSE, Inc.
Ranging in size from 1.85 shp to 900 shp. Variations include single cylinder, flat opposed, V-Configurations, Axial Configurations for Aerial Launch Effects (ALE) and Common Launch Tube (CLT) with diameters from 6" to 10". All engines are capable of starting and running on the heavy fuel they were designed for without having to start on one fuel and then switching to the Heavy Fuel. Currently, most engines are available to run on Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Certified Fuels (DF-2, Jet-A, JP-5, JP-8, JP-10, Bio-Diesel and SAF); in addition, most of the engines will run on any petroleum or plant oil based fuel with little to no modifications required. GSE can make the modifications for non-listed fuels with a short lead time and after fuel testing on a verified test engine.
